Psychological Assessment Services for the Deaf (PASDEAF) was established to address the unique psychological assessment needs of deaf and hard of hearing individuals. As a clinical and forensic psychologist, Dr. Brian Hartman conducts psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Additionally, he can provide consultation to organizations, attorneys, advocates, or others who are working with deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Services

Forensic

Forensic evaluation requires specialized knowledge and training. Similarly, the needs of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing are unique and require a specialized skill set for assessment and psychological testing.

Clinical Assessment

In addition to forensic assessment, Dr. Hartman is able to provide any other type of psychological assessment with deaf and hard of hearing individuals, including assessments for vocational rehabilitation and general clinical purposes.

Consultation

Dr. Hartman is available for consultation regarding the psychological impact of deafness on various social and legal issues.  The impact of deafness on situations can be a significant factor that is relevant to triers of fact.
